The case of Evgenia Vasilyeva was assigned for consideration on July 1, 2014. Legal proceedings lasted as long as 10 months. On May 8, 2014, the judge issued a guilty verdict: an official was found guilty of committing fraudulent acts and illegal real estate transactions of the Moscow Region. The sentence was not so severe: Yevgenia Nikolaevna was given 5 years in a penal colony, given that she had already served half her term under house arrest, she had only 2.5 years to serve. After the trial, she was sent to the Pechatniki pre-trial detention center, and in the summer she was transferred to the Vladimir Region.

Already at the end of August 2015, the convict was released.
