How to choose

First of all, it is important when choosing to focus on the time of year in which the birth of the baby is planned. For those born in winter, a warmed version of a sleeping bag is recommended. Models made from cotton fabricsassume use only in room conditions or in warm summer weather, with air temperature above 22 degrees. The manufacturer of sleeping bags for newborns must indicate on the label the temperature mode of use of the product.

Models up to 65 cm long will suit only newborn crumbs, babies up to 9 months will feel great in bags 75-80 cm long. For children over 1.5 years old, sleeping bags from 105 cm long will do.

Add a few centimeters around the contour of the shirt or sliders, and draw a pattern with a piece of soap or soap. The length of the pattern is easy to calculate, adding 5-10 cm to the height of the child.

On one of the patterns mark the cutout under the neck. This part of the sleeping bag will also have to be vertically cut into two equal parts; it is precisely in this section that a two-runner zipper will be located later. When the zipper is sewn and the neck is finished, it's time to put the front and back parts and sew them together with the seams out.
