Liquid wallpaper in the children's room

The choice of wall decoration for a child’s room plays an important role in his development, well-being, and physical and mental health.

Liquid wallpaper in the children's room is a mixture of cellulose, silk fibers, dyes, glue and decorative additives, such as glitter and mineral crumbs. They are supplied in the form of dry mixes of different colors, and before finishing they are diluted with water, mixed to a uniform composition and applied to the surface with a roller or spatula. Therefore, they are often called silk plaster.

Liquid wallpaper in the nursery will have the following advantages:

Decorating walls and ceilings with liquid wallpaper is relatively easy. For them, unlike paper ones, it is not required to smear the surface with glue, neatly join the rolls, and avoid air voids. It is enough to apply a liquid mixture on the surface with a uniform layer; this will not require great professionalism.

According to the components of the composition of liquid wallpaper are divided into silk, cellulose and silk-cellulose. Silk is preferable, since less than cellulose is exposed to moisture, it retains its color much longer. But the paper-based wallpaper has a lower cost.

Wallpapers with decorative fillers will make a bright touch to the interior of the children's room. Additional components for them are made of mineral stones, mica, wood chips and even dry algae. For preschoolers 3 - 6 years old, you can use brighter paints of liquid wallpaper and drawings on the wall, which can broaden your horizons, prepare for school. A good option would be the image of the alphabet, numbers, animal species or plants. Also very popular are the images of favorite characters from cartoons, toys, dolls, fabulous landscapes, castles, wizards. For girls, pink tones would be preferable, for example, the image of a bear on a flower meadow, which harmoniously fits into the interior of the room. The boys will love the blue sailboat with waves and dolphins on a white background.

For a teenager, you can make a picture from liquid wallpaper that matches his hobbies and tastes. If a boy is interested in technology, then it is worth decorating the wall with images of cars, robots and computers. If he is an athlete, then it is best to depict in the room a model of a football field or symbolism of popular sports clubs. For girls at this age, images of their favorite idols or romantic motifs will suit well.
